Label 2.0 Update: How To Be A Google Rockstar, ReTweet Science, and More!
So Label 2.0 is up and running, and we already have members applying our tactics and participating in the forums!
What’s also cool is, a week into our launch I’m already digging some of our members’ music; this week I’ve been listening a lot to Andrew Hand’s “Slow It Down”, and learning about his “Songs For Oprah” project.
We have some wonderful new content this week for Label 2.0 members:
This is the second in-depth tutorial in our Web Development section that gives an overview of Search Engine Marketing and Optimization. Even if you already familiar with SEO and Google, I highly suggest checking this out. I’ve spent 5+ years working in this industry and learning from some of the brightest minds in the industry, and you’ll learn everything from the basics of SEO to some of the secrets to ranking for keywords the RIGHT way. Many think SEO is snake oil or magic and this will introduce you to how it all works.
When logging into the Label 2.0 dashboard, you might notice some new changes right off the bat. We’ve added a lot of new informative content in the sidebar to keep you up-to-date with the latest tools, information, and resources to teach you how to develop your online marketing efforts.
First up it the “Recent Posts” links – these are members-only blog posts that we promised to bring you each and every week.
The first post is titled The Science of ReTweets: Presentation by Dan Zarrella, and features a slideshow presentation discussing the power of ReTweets for those using Twitter, from one of the social media world’s brightest minds.
In addition, we’ve added some things to make keeping up-to-date with us a little easier. One of the goals of Label 2.0 is to make your workload as efficient as possible as well as informing you in all aspects of creating an online presence.
Now, when you access your Label 2.0 dashboard, you’ll see my Twitter updates and Delicious Bookmarks displayed right in the sidebar, saving you time from navigating to those sites. I Tweet and Bookmark new articles, tools, and other web content every day so be sure to login and check out what I’ve been studying.
Hope everyone is learning a lot and applying that knowledge to growing your marketing campaign and web strategy – we’ve got plenty more to come and glad you’re along for the ride.
