Greetings everyone, Eric Hebert here with Label 2.0; I have some exciting information for you that, as a music industry professional, are going to love.

As many of you might already know, my partner Greg Rollett and I introduced Label 2.0, an online interactive learning environment for musicians, back in August. The past few months have been really awesome as Label 2.0 has gotten some members in the door. Watching and interacting with our members has been very well received and we are looking forward to really blowing the doors off in the new year.

However, as much fun as we’ve been having teaching our artists how to learn various business and marketing techniques through our monthly training modules, interacting with them in the forums, having really exciting training calls with industry professionals, and giving our members access to industry-insider products, we’ve barley even begun to get started. We have lots of things in store for 2010 that really is going to make Label 2.0 a must-have service for every band and musician out there.

So how can you be a part of Label 2.0?

That’s where the new Label 2.0 affiliate program comes in. When Greg and I first threw the idea of creating a paid membership site, we knew it was  going to be a hard thing to sell. There’s so many info products out there and most of them barely scratch the surface in actually providing value as a product. Add to the mix that most musicians are very pessimistic when it comes to the business side of things, trying to convince them that our service would really help them out has proven to be a hard thing to do.

Another thing that’s been hard for us is getting some press. We know, as bloggers ourselves, that getting everyone to give a shout out to something that A. they’ve never used and B. that they can’t make money off if is a tough thing to ask.

So starting in January 2010, we’re going to be inviting industry bloggers, webmasters, and other professionals into the Label 2.0 affiliate program. You’ll be provided with tons of great tools to help promote our service, and you’ll enjoy an awesome 60% of the initial sale for any member you bring into the fold.

That’s right – we don’t want a bunch of spammers and people who really don’t see the value in what we are doing. Instead, we’re inviting those in the industry who are passionate about what they do and are looking to provide value to the communities they have built.
