A Look At 2009 Reunion Tours

Gwen Stefani, Stephen Bradley, and Tony Kanal ...It seems that during the last two years a lot of bands of reunited. Everyone from The Police to Rage Against The Machine to Blind Melon to Stone Temple Pilots.

With 2008 almost over a lot of bands are reuniting for 2009, some good, some bad. Here’s a quick glimpse of the bands that are giving it another round.

Weezer at Susquehanna Bank Center, Camden New Jersy 9/27

This past Saturday I finally got to see the one and only Weezer.

So, was the waiting worth it? Absolutely.

The band came out wearing white jumpsuits, which were eventually taken off in favor of red athletic jumpsuits, and very mildly started the show with “My Name Is Jonas”. From there the band delivered pretty much every hit from their catalog, everything from “Say It Ain’t So” to “El Scorcho” to “Hash Pipe” to “Pork and Beans”.

Of course, there was also quit a bit from the band’s most recent self-titled release, some fan favorites, like “Pink Triangle”, and covers from fellow 90′s heavyweights Oasis and Nirvana.
