Contest Submission: Supernaw – 3 Stars (Out of 5)

Submission: Whiskey By The Gallon

I had no idea what to expect from a band called Supernaw. Instead of a metal-orientated band, I heard a more acoustic driven tune. I think the band’s biggest aspect is the guy/girl duet. Most of them, when we hear that, it’s just one song of a gimmick album, but rarely in a band. If these guys are going to go any further they need to make a decision, be a serious band or go a Tenacious D route, personally, the latter is probably their best choice.

Supernaw have close to a thousand fans, mostly in their home state of California, that are divided almost evenly between MySpace and Facebook. They’re on the right track in the social network department, but will be better off once a majority of their fans aren’t from MySpace.

Supernaw is a refreshing brand. They have there own indivual sound that stands out from other bands.
That make them unique. I love all of there music and I give them 5 out 5 stars. You need to look beyond your personal tastes to rate this band because they really cover a wide range of music types.

If you only knew how hard they have worked to accomplish what they have thus far you would not write such meaningles crap. Supernaw is an awesome band that has alot of real potential. So whomever wrote such a bad review needs a serious change of jobs because you obviously dont know how to critique great music when you hear it...
    Rock on Supernaw :)

The Facebook/Myspace fans are probably just people who click "yes" without hearing this garbage. I've never heard something be Bubblegum and beige in the same note.

Thanks for the input Tim. Can you please define beige?
