Are you looking for an industry professional to give you an honest and helpful analysis of what you’re doing and where you’re going in your music career?

One of the toughest aspects about working in the music industry is trying to provide valuable services at a price that everyone can afford. Getting me full time to help you out on your project, for many, is almost impossible – not because I charge a zillion dollars to get involved, but mostly because many musicians and other entertainment industry people just don’t have ANY money to hire a team to help – many are still kicking it at a day job or bartending or whathaveyou.

So for the past few months I’ve been trying to figure out what I can provide that’s relatively affordable and yet provides a ton of value, and the result is giving musicians a “Career Audit”, which in a nutshell is a review of not only your music, but every aspect of your music business as well. This includes things like reviewing your website, social networks, looking at your fanbase, analysis of your brand impact (think SEO/social analysis), how your networking with fans, your business model – basically an analysis of EVRERYTHING you’re doing, and more importantly advice on what you can do to make it better.

Music Career Audits cost $100, and turnaround time will be 10-12 business days.

Once you get your audit, you will be prepared to right away continue doing the things I feel are going to move your career foward, stop the things that might be hurting it, and take my advice by following the actionable steps I’ll be creating for you to take things to the next level.

It’ll be obviously up to you to take my advice and run with it, but then again you probably already know that. You’re never going to get anywhere unless you get off your butt and work hard to achieve any sort of success; let me guide you through (I have been doing this for many years now and trust me, the advice I give you will be priceless).

I’ve never had a conversation with a musician regarding their career where said musician didn’t walk away with his head hurting because it was packed with more information or analysis on how to build a successful music career, well, except for that one guy who was convinced that the Internet was destroying music and was only gonna offer his on vinyl (good luck with that).

Oh what’s that you say – you have like to have a conversation too?

Don’t worry, I got you. For $200, I’ll not only do the Career Audit, but I will also provide you with 2 (count’em) 1-Hour phone consultations with yours truly. It’s up to you for how you want to use ‘em – we can do a two hour block (keeping in mind how many cigarettes I have on me at the time) or you can break them up – say 1 hour to discuss the audit and then another a few weeks later to check up on your progress. If you want a headache (the good kind), you’ll love having a one-on-one discussion with me, as that’s where my creativity really can shine.

The Career Audit is not for you guys who are recording crappy demos in your basement with no website or fans or talent or what-have-you. I don’t want to waste your time. These and any phone consultations are for those artists who have either already recorded something or are very close to, have written a decent amount of original material, have hopefully played live, and some sort of fanbase (even if small), etc – serious inquiries only. I’d gladly take anyone’s money but that’s not what this is about. I want to analyze and deal with those who are really chomping at the bit to learn new things about this business and who want to move forward.
