Addis Discusses the Success of “Disco” Featuring FYI

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and having numerous discussions about the biz with Addis (formerly known as Raptile) of the label/group the Monstablokaz, who’s song “Disco” featuring FYI is currently shooting up the Billboard charts. Addis was very successful overseas a few years back and now is taking the next step and dropping his new music here in the states.

Talking to Addis, you can tell he really “gets” how to market music in this day and age, focusing on one single a time while working towards the end goal of tying them all together in the end for a complete album. He recently had an interview with some guy named Greg Rollett for Hypebot about his experience in the biz which you should definitely give a read.
