For months now I’ve been telling them to get their asses on We were going to sit down at the local Central Perk (yes, it’s really called that I know lame) but the students had overrun it with their usual Sunday study-cramming, so We decided to walk back to my place. The whole time their drilling me with questions about Reverb. What is it exactly? They do the same as Tunecore? And manage your email list? What about – and I cut them off. I told them that they needed to just see it for themselves and that they’d “get it”, and would be preaching about how cool the tools are as soon as they saw them
They were floored, and have been buzzing over their profile ever since. Their lead singer even started a profile for the concert venue he works at part time (yes, labels, management, and venues can use Reverb too!)
The point here is that, even though for months I had been telling them all about the awesomeness that is ReverbNation, they didn’t really understand how powerful their service is until they saw it with their own eyes.
Luckily for those who still need convincing, or those who just need some help figuring everything out, Reverb has put together some nice screencast videos that show you all the neat tools and widgets the site offers. After checking these vids out, if you’re not using Reverb to promote your band, you will be. You will be.
