Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Self-Release New Album

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
One of my favorite bands out there right now just self-released a new album.

Through their own Abstract Dragon imprint, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club has digitally released a collection of ten “instrumental/ambient” tracks entitled The Effects of 333. You can purchase the album through the band’s website for $6. You’ll also get a poem to download, which is hidden in one of the tracks, and an acoustic version of “Too Real”.

Here’s the tracklisting:

“The Effects of 333″
“Still No Answer”
“I Know You’re in There”
“And With This Comes”
“A Sad State”
“A Twisted State”
“Sedated With Sterilized Tongues”
“We’re Not Welcome Alone”
“Or Needed”
“And When Was Better”

I fucking love this.

In fact, I hope BRMC don’t do another major album release. These guys have potential to be big. Like Kings of Leon, they had their music in commercials, films, etc., toured their asses off and got some plugs from bands like Oasis. But, they still haven’t received the success that KOL are currently enjoying. I would really like to blame the labels, since these guys went from Virgin to RCA. I honestly believe that they weren’t handled correctly. It’s all good though, they’ll just Take Them, On Your Own.

  • What's funny is you've been talking about these guys for years and years but I still have never picked anything up by them! Sometimes even you can't push stuff on me. I promise I'll get all over that asap.
