AC/DC Announce North American Tour
The legendary Aussies have announced the first leg of their world tour, which is their first since 2001.
AC/DC will kick things off on October, 28 in Wilkes-Barre, PA an will end this first leg on December, 18 in Charlotte, NC. The tour will be in support of the band’s upcoming release Black Ice, which will be released exclusively through Wal-Mart on October 20. Tickets will begin going on sale September 20 through Ticketmaster, as if there is another choice.
AC/DC will also hit South America, Asia and Europe sometime next year. The band will then be heading back to North America for a summer stadium tour.

In related news, fans should defiantly check out a new feature on the band’s official site, entitled “AC/DC 101″. This section features a history of the band and track samples broken up by decades. There are also pics and a pretty fucking sweet widget that features “On This Day” in AC/DC. Now that’s a great and simple idea that more bands should do for their die hard fans.
